Why have we introduced this new offer?

The Club has surveyed ACO members over the last year-and-a-half in which we asked those leaving the Club why they had decided not to renew their membership. Another survey was conducted among 1,000 members, particularly regarding hospitality during events. Six round-table discussions with members and non-members were organised in Nantes, Angers and Rennes to find out what people with an interest in cars and motorcycles needed and wanted.

It turns out that club members’ requirements have changed. The people surveyed were looking for a customisable solution rather than a set package offering limited choice. The new offer is designed to harmonise the benefits and put them within all members’ reach. The new offer is more affordable and more flexible.

The Club is switching from 16 membership formulas to just one that can be tailored to the member’s individual needs with optional add-ons.

How does it work?

• A core package that is the same for everyone (motorists, motorcyclists, fans of motorsport on two and four wheels, history buffs, etc.), containing a host of exclusive services and special offers.
• Optional add-ons allowing members to tailor their package to their own individual needs with customised services available for purchase all year round.

When will the changeover take effect?

During 24 Hours of Le Mans race week, Club representatives will discuss the new package with you and offer to convert your current formula to its closest equivalent at no extra cost. If you agree, you will receive your new card during the summer. If you refuse, you will continue with your current formula until its expiry date, and then switch to the new offer in 2020.

If you’re not coming to the 24 Hours of Le Mans, we shall contact you in September 2019 to replace your current formula with an equivalent package for 2020.

What does it contain?

ACO membership now contains:

• Exclusive benefits: invitations to auto/moto events (activities and visits free of charge or at special member rates, held at Le Mans and other circuits), advance ticketing and members-only grandstands, Club ticket booths and no-queue admission to ACO events, permanent entry to the 24 Hours of Le Mans Museum (even during events) and permanent access to the Bugatti circuit (except during races).
• Special discounts: 40% off full-week, Wednesday or Thursday General Enclosure tickets for the 24 Hours of Le Mans and off four-day tickets for the 24H Motos (up to two discounted tickets per race). Plus discounts on tickets for other circuit events (French Motorcycle Grand Prix, Le Mans Classic, Promosport, Superbike, and more (up to two tickets per race), reductions on all ACO activities (official store, karting, simulator, auto/moto training school, racetrack experiences, 24 Hours of Le Mans museum admission for your guests), reductions from our auto/moto partners, auto/moto magazines, Europcar vehicle hire (in France), Motorsport.com website, and lots more.

Membership fees: €60 membership (services valid for the member only); €30 discounted rate for the member’s partner or dependent child over 18 living at the same address (official proof required).
