2025 Le Mans Classic: Tickets on sale from 27 November

The 2023 Le Mans Classic coincided with the 24 Hours of Le Mans Centenary celebrations last year. Now, mark your calendars as the event is set to return 3-6 July 2025 (dates subject to FFSA approval)!

After a&nbsp;2023 edition celebrating the 24 Hours Centenary with&nbsp;235,000 spectators in attendance, the date for the 12th running of the Le Mans Classic is programmed for 3-6 July 2025 at the legendary Le Mans circuit.

Patrick Peter (Peter Auto&nbsp;founder and president):&nbsp;We are happy to announce the&nbsp;12th running of an increasingly important event showcasing&nbsp;the scope of the world&#39;s automotive legacy. We are extremely proud the last edition of the Le&nbsp;Mans Classic, initially created in&nbsp;2002 with the Automobile Club de l&rsquo;Ouest, became the biggest gathering of vintage cars in the world last year. Indeed, 235,000 spectators came to see nearly&nbsp;800 cars race, almost&nbsp;8,000 club and collector cars as well as hundreds of exhibitors and attractions. The Le Mans Classic is truly an invitation to relive the&nbsp;history of motor racing and&nbsp;look ahead to its&nbsp;future. Like the 24 Hours,&nbsp;which has always promoted new technologies such as 100% renewable fuel, hybrid engines and now hydrogen in&nbsp;2027, it was at the 2018 Le Mans Classic that a synthetic fuel was used for the first time in a classic&nbsp;competition. For the record, two of those cars reached the&nbsp;podium, and the effort was&nbsp;expanded in 2023 to&nbsp;open&nbsp;the door to a clean energy&nbsp;competition. I would like to thank our loyal partners who always join the party.&nbsp;We look forward to meeting the fans&nbsp;in July 2025 for a Le Mans Classic that&nbsp;as always will have many surprises in store.

The Le Mans Classic to return 3-6 July 2025

After a four-year absence, Le Mans Classic returns from June 30 to July 3, 2022 on the legendary 24 Hours circuit. The long-awaited event will open its doors to spectators for the first time on Thursday from 2pm on. An afternoon where the paddocks will be accessible for free to all ticket holders! For this occasion a "Thursday General Enclosure" ticket will be sold on site.

Le Mans Classic will bring together nearly 800 cars with flagship models such as the M1 Procar BMW (1979), the SSK Mercedes-Benz (1929), the Speed 8 Bentley (2003), the Gr.IV De Tomaso Pantera (1972) or the 917k Porsche (1970) and the 312P Ferrari (1969).

Take part in Le Mans Classic with a varied and complete ticket offer to meet everyone's desires. Many options are available: The General Enclosure Ticket gives access to all the public areas around the track, to the village, to the Club Areas and to all the entertainment. In addition, there are Paddocks &amp; Grandstands surcharges. Hospitality areas for tents, caravans and motor homes are also available.

Le Mans Classic : the ticket office is open

Eagerly expected for four years, the event will open its doors on Thursday afternoon and do it big.

Created in 2002 by Peter Auto, in association with the Automobile Club de l'Ouest, Le Mans Classic offers a formidable retrospective of the 24 Hours of Le Mans. The event, acclaimed from its very first edition, has continued to grow and attracted over 195,000 spectators in 2018. It is the largest gathering of classic cars with 600 racing cars on the track and 8,500 classic cars displayed in the specially designed enclosures.

Organized every other year, Le Mans Classic was originally scheduled to celebrate its 10th running in July 2020. The health crisis has decided otherwise, so the 10th edition will also mark the 20th anniversary of the event creation. For the occasion, new features will punctuate the weekend, starting with the opening of the circuit being brought forward to Thursday afternoon, allowing the public to attend the Checks and Scrutineering. Another première, the Endurance Racing Legends series, which brings together the GTs and prototypes of the years 1990-2000, will be run as a competition and no longer as a parade like in 2018. Last, but not least, the 40th anniversary of the Group C creation will be celebrated as it should be. More to come...

Spectators who have already booked their seats before the two successive postponements (2020, 2021) will of course be able to enjoy the event in 2022 with their tickets. For the others, see you at the beginning of December for the ticket office reopening.

Peter Auto and the Automobile Club de l'Ouest have decided to postpone the 10th edition of Le Mans Classic to the first or second weekend of July 2022. Here are the ticketing procedures to follow.

July is just around the corner. So, now is the time for decisions. Given current constraints on large events, Peter Auto and the Automobile Club de l’Ouest have decided to postpone the tenth Le Mans Classic to the first or second week of July 2022. The date will be confirmed in September.  

Fans who have already bought tickets can use them 2022 (no exchange required). You must keep your tickets in order to access in July 2022.

Aware of the economic and structural difficulties caused by the Covid-19 crisis, the French Government, by an ordinance 2020-1599 published on 16th December 2020 and updated by the ordinance 2021-137 published on 10th February, allows sport event organizers to grant a credit note instead of the refund of tickets in case of postponement, cancellation, or event taking place behind closed doors.

We inform you that this regulation will apply to all requests.

Please find hereafter the refund process to make your credit note claim at the latest on May 31st 2021.

Le Mans Classic – Discover the Ticketing Procedures

Peter Auto and the Automobile Club de l’Ouest are once again forced to delay the 10th Le Mans Classic. The race is now scheduled for the first or second weekend of July 2022.

Due to changes in the restrictions applied to large-scale events, Peter Auto and the Automobile Club de l’Ouest are obligated to postpone the 10th Le Mans Classic once again. The new dates will be confirmed in September, but the event is tentatively planned for the first or second weekend of July 2022. Without the 200,000+ spectators normally in attendance, without the village and attractions, a Le Mans Classic behind closed doors would not be the beloved celebration of the automobile it has been for the past 20 years.

The Le Mans Classic will also be held the following year, in July 2023, for the 100th anniversary of the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

In the event spectators are unable to attend the event on the new dates in July 2022, the organizers will communicate all pertinent information concerning ticketing.

Peter Auto suggests competitors hit the track at the Bugatti circuit in a few months on 3-4 July for the Historic Racing by Peter Auto event gathering together all grids in its various series: Classic Endurance Racing I &amp; II, Fifties Endurance, Sixties Endurance, Heritage Touring Cup, 2.0L Cup, The Greatest’s Trophy, Endurance Racing Legends and Group C.

Pierre Fillon, President of the Automobile Club de l’Ouest: "Organizing the Le Mans Classic behind closed doors would not make any sense. This event is made for the public, and the attendance restrictions in the current situation have required this logical decision. This event loved by all enthusiasts will be held in 2022, before a return in 2023 for a centenary edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans which promises to be exceptional. The Endurance Racing Legends, support race for the 24 Hours of Le Mans this year, will allow the automobile to be celebrated as it should be."

Patrick Peter, President of Peter Auto: "The maximum attendance figures imposed by the government do not allow us to maintain this event on the initial dates (1-4 July 2021, Ed.). Moreover, even though it has been considered, a closed session would not do justice to this event and would considerably reduce the beautiful tribute to the great history of endurance. The Le Mans Classic without the public, without exhibitors and without clubs is not the Le Mans Classic. We will nevertheless meet again in August during the 24 Hours Le Mans with the presence of Endurance Racing Legends cars as the support race. Enthusiasts will have two successive years of the Le Mans Classic since we will do another edition in 2023 which will be an opportunity to reinforce the tribute to the 100th anniversary of the 24 Hours of Le Mans."

Peter Auto and the Automobile Club de l’Ouest have decided to postpone the 10th Le Mans Classic, originally scheduled for 2-5 July 2020. The event will now be held in Le Mans on 1-4 July 2021. All tickets remain valid.

In the current climate, Peter Auto and the ACO are unable to guarantee the safety and standards associated with Le Mans Classic and have therefore opted to reschedule the prestige event in 2021. 
 
The uncertainty surrounding the health situation ruled out a short-term postponement. The 10th Le Mans Classic will therefore be held from 1-4 July 2021.

Until the end of June, we make ourselves comfortable to watch the teaser video of Le Mans Classic 2022.

Second meeting of the 2021 Series by Peter Auto, the Historic Racing also marked the return of the public to the Le Mans Bugatti circuit. The sun was not always with us, but drivers and clubs were present, with more than 500 classic or prestigious cars gathered in the circuit.
