What's on at the Le Mans circuits in June? The 24 Hours of Le Mans tops the bill!

It has largely been two-wheel action only at the Bugatti Circuit over the last couple of months, with the motorcycle 24 Hours in April and the French motorcycle Grand Prix just over a week ago. Now it’s time for some four-wheel motorsport and, of course, the world’s greatest car race: the 24 Hours of Le Mans (17-18 June).

The one and only 24 Hours of Le Mans

The French motorcycle Grand Prix was a great success, drawing more than 100,000 spectators over the weekend. It was barely finished when the first infrastructures and cars started to arrive, ready for the 24 Hours of Le Mans. There is a stunning grid once again this year, with some closely-fought battles promised in all four classes. Porsche and Toyota are obviously favourites for outright victory and the LM P1 title. Meanwhile, the all-new LM P2s (with an additional 100 hp horsepower) will be present for their first 24-hour race in Europe. Then there are the superb GTEs (Ford, Ferrari, Porsche, Aston Martin and Corvette), ready to do battle in what is undoubtedly the most hotly contended class of all.

Come and see the cars entered in the 24 Hours of Le Mans out on the track at the Test Day (Sunday 4 June), the qualifying sessions, (Wednesday 14 and Thursday 15 June) and, of course, at the race on 17-18 June. Don’t miss out – purchase your tickets online.

Bugatti track days

The circuit agenda is somewhat more restricted than usual, but the prototypes from the ACO racing school (25, 26 and  30 June),  Porsches from the Sport Driving School (7 June) and the Mercedes AMG cars (for anyone wanting to try out the German marque’s range) will be out on the Bugatti this month.

Please note: on Tuesday 6 June, the circuit is reserved for teams entered in the 24 Hours of Le Mans looking to fine-tune their settings before race week.

Last but not least, ACO Formation will be running road safety training courses for 60 trainees from local companies over the last few days of June.

And over at Maison Blanche...

The Maison Blanche circuit will be exclusively reserved for Porsche and the Sport Driving School sessions (on 24, 25, 29 and 30 June) and a Porsche Track Day on 27 June.
