2,000 riders, including Stephen Roche, on the entry list!
About 2,000 riders will race on the Bugatti race-track, at Le Mans, on August 24th and 25th.
Irish Stephen Roche, winner of the 1987 Tour de France, will send riders off before he races himself with team-mate Roger Legeay. Other cycling stars, such as Jimmy Casper, Arnaud Coyot or Thierry Marie are on the entry list.
John Does take up the challenge of the Cycling Le Mans 24 Hours as well, either being part of a team (from 2 to 8 riders) or on their own like eldest rider #182 Mario Funès who is... 82!
With team Vulco, winner of the last three races, not on the entry list, Samuel Plouhinec (3rd in 2012) Team Mondovélo Le Mans, team VC Avranches (5th in 2011 and 2012) and Cyril Masson (winner in 2009) team Hotel Kyriad Mulsanne will be among the favorites.
The entrance to the circuit is free for visitors, who will enjoy many off-track activities such as bike testing, show-offs, food testing and concerts and will have the opportunity to meet with Miss 24 Hours of Le Mans "Le Maine Libre" Chloé Le Deun.
