Coming to Le Mans this summer? There’s plenty to see and do at the circuits in July!

Find out what’s on the agenda at the Bugatti circuit and Circuit de la Sarthe this July. There’ll be plenty of gleaming chrome, roaring engines, fearless riders and a stunning array of classic VWs!

As we move into summer and the sun shines bright in the sky over Le Mans, there will be no let up in the action on the city’s circuits!
There will be a whole series of races and events on the 4.185-km Bugatti circuit this July, plus some track action on the longer Circuit de la Sarthe (13.629 km).  

On the agenda for July 2016:

  • 24 Hours Rollers – roller sports event, 2-3 July
  • Le Mans Classic, 8-10 July.
  • A prototype driving course, 16-17 July*
  • Promosport French Cup, 23-24 July
  • Super  VW Fest, 29-31 July

  1. Hundreds of plucky competitors and high-level athletes will set off on their skates for a 24-hour chase up the Dunlop hill and around the Bugatti circuit!
  2. ​From 8 to 10 July, it’s back to the full-length Circuit de la Sarthe for Le Mans Classic, where some remarkable models that competed at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in the past will be back on the famous race track, revisiting Mulsanne, Indianapolis and the other legendary corners! The first group comprises 68 cars from 1923 to 1939, with several other periods represented for a total 445 cars. New for this year – the iconic Group C cars, and don’t miss the Jaguar festival!
  3. The Promosport French Cup always offers a sensational show as experienced riders and talented youngsters battle it out on their motorbikes. This year’s mid-summer clash takes place on 23-24 July.
  4. Beetles, VW campers and other icons from the German manufacturer will gather for a three-day VW festival from 29-31 July.
