Before becoming a constructor, Guy Ligier (1930-2015) was a driver who competed namely at the 24 Hours of Le Mans eight times. Here he is in this video back in 1966, for a lap of the circuit with an on-board camera.
That year, for his third start at the 24 Hours, Guy Ligier was at the wheel of a Ford GT40 entered by the French subsidiary of the American manufacturer and shared with American driver Bob Grossman.
