The logo was unveiled this afternoon by Frédéric Lénart, the ACO general manager, in the presence of Antoine Tremblot, general manager of the Leroy Tremblot company that created it, Fabrice Bourrigaud, the Pole Esprit manager, and riders Louis Rossi, GP2 participant and ambassador of the ACO, and pole vaulter Renaud Lavillenie who is racing in his second 24 Heures Moto this weekend.

This new identity has been created for the 38th 24 Heures Moto (and the following ones), which will take place on 18-19 April 2015 in seven months time: not in September like this year.

After the logo change for the Le Mans 24 Hours in June it was the right moment to evolve the identity of the other endurance races organised by the Automobile Club de l’Ouest.

According to Antoine Tremblot, the designer of these logos: “As a result, the 24 Heures Moto becomes part of the concept of the 24 Heures brand whose symbolism illustrates the alternation of day and night between forms and counter forms. It sends out a strong, powerful hard-hitting message in red and black to feed the brand and help it to become embedded in the world of the motorbike, strongly identified with this colour code.

An important modification has been introduced with this logo: the evolution of the spelling of the world ‘Moto,’ which was initially seen as an abbreviation. An "S" has now been added thus illustrating all the categories in the programme of 24-Hours events organised by the ACO.

Pierre Fillon, President of the Automobile Club de l’Ouest: “Since 1923, the date of the creation of the Le Mans 24 Hours, and 1978 the year of the first 24 Heures Moto, the ACO has never stopped working to spread the renown of endurance in motor sport. The introduction of this new logo sends out a strong message in the history of the race, and underlines the attachment of the Automobile Club de l’Ouest to endurance on two wheels as well as its long-term involvement in its development.
